Nursery inspiration

In all honesty I've never been much of a baby person but I think when you are carrying your own child something just snaps in you. It's true what they say about the "nesting" syndrome, I've had such fun getting Olive's nursery ready for her arrival on the 6th January. Here's a couple of the pics I've used as inspiration...

Decor dreaming

I've always been a huge fan of all white interiors and lately I've fallen in love with grey. Can't wait to get stuck into some serious redecorating !

Studio love

Lately I've become somewhat obsessed with home renovation, DIY and interiors, so much so that we've even dubbed Sundays as "pretty house day". So when I came across this blog and all these photos of beautiful studios my heart did a little star jump. I'm so in love with the first one and have a feeling this Sunday is going to be "pretty studio day"!

Boho dreaming

It has been incredibly hot this week in Durban and all I can think about is sitting outside on the deck sipping G&T's and reading my book...weekend where are you?!!

Farm house dreaming

We have found our dream home, a hundred year old farm house down the South coast in Kwazulu Natal and are moving in a months time! My thoughts are occupied with floaty white interiors, fresh cut flowers and distressed wood, here are some of the interiors I've spent my weekend drooling over..*sigh*, I can't wait!!!
