China Doll, you are beautiful!

I've been collecting all things bunny related lately for an art wall in Olives nursery. My friend Simone sent me a link to a local artist that she knows and I have fallen in love with EVERYTHING of hers!!! Funny thing is after chatting, we discovered we live in the same town, such a small world :) So here is some of Megan's work, I'm getting a copy of the first one, so beautiful. *Swoon*

Daxiland Dolls

I'm continually inspired by the work of a very dear friend of mine, Victoria Verbaan if you haven't seen or heard of her work (which I'm sure you must have) Pop on to her site HERE.

I love how Vicky describes her work as "fairytale and fiction. Contradiction. Fashion, nature, emotion…without being too serious." and is inspired by "The alarming quality of Surrealism and of course Roald Dahl who has been a good friend for as long as I can remember"

The extremely talented Kim Longhurst, (who also designed my jewellery logo) has just launched a limited range of prints available at Ikhaya. Would absolutely love ALL of these for our little peanuts nursery!

Words of Wisdom

Have absolutley fallen in love with these illustrations and can completely relate to Alyssa Nassner's explanation to the start of her range "This past year for my New Year's resolution I vowed to make an effort to improve my conversational skills. To this day, I'm still incredibly awkward, and can't carry on a conversation that exceeds the occasional pleasantry or comment about the weather. But in my the wake of my terrible ability to make chit chat, the idea to create a line of products that spoke for themselves was born."
